The Thompson Library is now open after a three-year renovation project. The OSU Libraries is also in the process of launching a brand new web site this fall; we'll be adding more information to the Thompson site over the next several weeks.
In the meantime, here are some important facts you need to know about Thompson:

Entrances: There are entrances on the Oval (east) and Neil Avenue (west) sides of the building.

Places to study: There are 1,800 study seats throughout the building. A few places to check out include:
- The Grand Reading Room (Room 200): Traditional study space overlooking the Oval.
- Group Study Rooms (west): Work together on your project.
- The West Reading Room (Room 260): Study space with a view of West Campus.
- Quiet Study Rooms: Rooms 440, 445, 450, 455.
- The Campus Reading Room (11th floor): Amazing views of the campus and downtown Columbus.

Computers: There are more than 230 computers for public use located throughout the building.

Wireless Access: OSU Wireless is available in most public areas, and will be expanded through the library in the coming weeks.

Cafe: The Berry Cafe is located on the Neil Avenue (west) side of the building.

You'll notice work underway throughout the building, as we work to have the building totally operational by the start of fall quarter. Each time you return to the Thompson Library, you'll discover more materials and services available for your use.

Join OSU President E. Gordon Gee and special guests for the dedication of the Thompson Library, Thursday, September 24, 4 p.m.
